А това неодобрение стана направо демонстративно, когато кепето започна да говори злорадо за рязане на глави и стъпкването им в калта, нищо че - или по-скоро, още повече поради факта, че са се накичили със сиви цилиндери. Това, доколкото лорд Ходсдън можеше да проследи мисълта му, беше начинът, по който би действал Сталинг в Москва, а което е добро за Сталинг, признаваше си открито кепето, бе добро и за него.
