Още на Вакен си казах, че догодина ще съм на Magic Circle Festival. Първото издание го пропуснах, а там имаше повече любими групи отколкото на целия Вакен. Билетите са вече в продажба, смятам до 1-2 седмици да поръчам. Доставката до България излиза $20, това успях да разбера от сайта.

The year 2008 will mark the 20th anniversary of the classic MANOWAR album "Kings Of Metal". In the words of Joey DeMaio "It's a party and you're all invited to celebrate". In order to commemorate this momentous occasion, Magic Circle Music will once again construct one of the largest stages in Germany. On this massive stage, MANOWAR will perform their first six albums in their entirety.

On Friday night, the Metal Kings will perform "Battle Hymns", "Into Glory Ride" and "Hail To England". On Saturday "Sign Of The Hammer", "Fighting The World" and finally "Kings Of Metal" will all be played from start to finish. This set will also feature a bombastic first-time rendition of "The Crown And The Ring (Lament Of The Kings)", which will feature the original choir and orchestral performance that has never been seen before.

От теб чакам инфо за самолети до ... Кьолн май е достатъчно близо. Ще потърся къде се намира това градче, може да има и по-удобен маршрут.

Някой ходил ли е миналата година? Някакви идеи за приблизителна обща сума (в това число и пътя, спането, манджа, бира...)

Нямам познати, които да са ходили. Все още не съм проверил къде се намира това градче. И с билета се туткам, но тези дни ще е. След това и за самолет почвам да мисля.
Общата сума няма да е малка, но пък ще се дава на части. За мен си струва ходенето.

Горе долу имаме идея за какво иде реч.Градчето се намира всред една китна гора, наблизо отстоят Дортмунд и Колн.Планирали сме пътуване с кола, като за момента има още 2-3 планирани возила.Правим си един авто-влак, километрите дотам по най-прекия маршрут през Сърбия и Австрия от София са около 1800.Тръгваме ден преди срядата, полека се закарваме дотам и после всичко е ясно.
Пътят ще стъпи по около 200лв. при положение ,че колцата гори около 6/100.
Така хем екскурзийка, хем фестивал.А ако се окаже , че 3-4 дни преди началото на фестивала нашите хора ще свирят и в Каварна...щесе получи пълно великолепие-тръгваме направо оттам.
Помислете и върху гореизложения вариант-една солидна автоколона с български знамена ще е нещо прекрасно

Бах, как ми се ще да ходя и аз, ама май няма да стане и тази година. Иначе като се има предвид какъв манияк съм на тема Manowar, това за мен е единствения фестивал (изън БГ). Ако мога да ходя, отебавам всякви други :>

Third Night of Music Confirmed for the Magic Circle Festival 2008 Featuring Ted Nugent and Alice Cooper

The rock ‘n’ roll rebel Ted Nugent is the latest artist confirmed to perform at the spectacular Magic Circle Festival 2008 in Bad Arolsen, Germany. Ted Nugent joins an impressive lineup that includes heavy metal powerhouses Alice Cooper, Def Leppard, Whitesnake, WASP, Doro, Brazen Abbot (featuring Joe Lynn Turner), HolyHell, Gotthard and many more, with the mighty MANOWAR headlining the whole festival and celebrating the 20th anniversary of “The Kings of Metal”.

Two days of music was not enough to contain such an impressive lineup, so a third full day of music has been added to the Magic Circle Festival at no additional charge. “Magic Circle Music is all about value for the fans, and three nights at the original price is the best way we could think of to add to that value,” says Magic Circle Music founder and MANOWAR bassist Joey DeMaio. The Magic Circle festival will begin on Wednesday, March 9 with opening ceremonies, followed by three days of music on Thursday, March 10 with Alice Cooper appearing as very special guest, Friday, March 11 and Saturday, March 12.

Director Neil Johnson posted a new video with a world premiere exclusive sneak preview of the new MANOWAR song which will be released during the Magic Circle Festival 2008 (July 9 to 12 in Bad Arolsen, Germany).

Neil recently visited Galaxy Studios in Belgium while Joey DeMaio was recording the choirs and mixing the new version of "The Crown And The Ring" and the new MANOWAR single "Die With Honor".

Neil also reveals some surprises that MANOWAR is preparing for the festival!
